Elegant Ethel is a confident, sassy little pigeon with a big personality. Raised indoors, she is endlessly curious and loves to watch what’s going on around her — if you’re doing something, she wants to be involved. She will stare at you with big puppy dog eyes pleading for treats and hand-feeding! She loves being hand fed.
She can be slightly reserved with strangers at first but food is the quickest way to her heart, and once trust is built she becomes a wonderfully engaging companion. Elegant Ethel is playful and energetic; like her sister Sticky Rikki, she adores enrichment toys such as jiggly balls, mirrors, chicken xylophones, and bell toys. She is an active bird who is always busy exploring, playing, or interacting.
She has experience wearing pigeon pants/flypers she tolerates them well and mostly seems unfased by them.
Because she thrives on human company, Elegant Ethel would be best suited to an indoor home where she can enjoy regular interaction. She can be rehomed either with her sister or individually to a home that already has another pigeon.
